Principal Involvement :  Options Appraisal and Business Planning

Advising a charitable trust on investment options for a £2m fund to support creative development of disengaged communities in Hounslow.

Iridesence was part of a consultancy team developing an options appraisal, followed by feasibility study and full business plan for Creative Action Hounslow, a cultural trust with a passion to support disengaged young people in the Borough. Their vision was ‘To develop a transformational and radically new social regeneration initiative for Hounslow, using arts, culture and creativity to change lives’.

Project Objectives:

Develop vision for 'Creative Action Hounslow'
Evaluate options and prepare 5-year business plan
Recommendations for £2m development fund
Provide an implementation plan for 'NewCo'

Collage Arts won a tender to deliver a range of projects in West London - Finella Devitt was a member of the team that developed the strategy which successfully won the tender. Finella’s knowledge of the creative and community arts sector and her research skills made a significant contribution in the organisation winning the tender and establishing Collage Arts in West London. Finella has also contributed her expertise as a consultant to the board of Collage Arts and again her contribution has been invaluable in the growth of the organisation.
